Ueno Park #5
This oil painting of a sign in Ueno Park, Tokyo, was done on a 36-inch-high x 48-inch-wide canvas. The painting is on a 1.5-inch-deep stretcher frame with sides painted and ready for hanging.
In 2001, I had the opportunity to live in Tokyo which gave me inspiration to paint a series of landscapes based on my experiences throughout Japan.
The painting is signed and dated on the back of the canvas (2001).
