Bridge near Meiji Jingu #1
I did this oil painting of a wooden walking bridge which was near the Meiji Jingu Shinto Shrine in Shibuya, Tokyo.
In 2001, I had the opportunity to live in Tokyo which gave me inspiration to paint a series of landscapes based on experiences viewed throughout Japan.
This 36-inch x 48-inch painting is on a 1.5-inch deep stretcher frame with sides painted and ready for hanging.
The painting is signed and dated on the back of the canvas (2002).
