Landscape with Clouds, France
Oil pastel of the clouds and landscape of south-central France.
In the early 1990's, at the invitation of Atkins Fine Art, I lived and painted the landscapes of France, noted for their vast areas of open spaces and golden sunlight. Every few years since then I return to absorb the beauty of the land.
I did this oil pastel on 22-inch high x 30-inch wide acid-free age-resistant 140 lb. oil paper.
The painting is signed in the lower right corner and is dated on the back (2015).
