Normandy Beach
Oil painting of Normandy Beach in France.
When travelling to Normandy, France, my impression was of a sky and ocean with the most beautiful and ever-changing light I had ever seen. The light and colors of the sky were ever-changing and seemed to skip along the water.
I painted this scene on a 36-inch high x 48-inch wide canvas. The canvas is on a 1.5-inch deep stretcher frame. The sides of the canvas are painted and this work is ready for hanging.
The painting is signed and dated on the back (2010).
