My view from atop a hill overlooking grassy fields near Montourcy, France, inspired this work in oil pastels of the landscape.
The painting is on 24-inch-high x 52-inch-wide acid-free age-resistant archival heavy art paper and is signed in the lower right corner and dated on the back.
At two different times during the 1990s, I lived in France painting its landscapes, and since then, I return every few years to absorb the beauty of the land and become inspired to paint more.
